(More customer reviews)My 11 y.o. son is a tough fit, mainly b/c he has sensory issues with his feet -- they get too warm and he doesn't like a sole that is too thick b/c he "loses touch with the ground". These have a thin / medium, yet supportive sole and they breathe. They also look nice -- sporty and even look good with jeans or khaki's. He didn't need to break them in -- they worked from the get go.
