I am someone who divides my "run" into part run/jog and part race-walk. When I race-walk my arms swing back and forth by my sides, which makes wearing anything around my waist unworkable as my arms bump into those little bottles on belts.I could use those large Camelbak type bags that go on your back, but I don't like the idea of something on my back.

These work perfectly, in the sense that they are easy to carry. Because you can adjust the strap that goes around your hand, you don't have to clench your hand around them and really hold the bottle, as it will stay on your hand even if you hand is loose.

The one negative is that calling this "thermal" is a not realistic: The little bit of padded fabric does almost nothing to keep the water cold, esp as one's hand is generating heat. IT's better than being completely exposed, but only just.

What I did that helps is that I wrapped some "meshy stuff" around the bottle and taped it to the bottle. This provides some air pockets and creates a little space between the bottle and the hand, and that helps.

I'd like to see better insulation but I haven't found anything else of this type that works as well in terms of staying on the hand.
