For his birthday this year, I got him these rather expensive gloves as a treat.They lasted 2 months worth of weekends before they wore out and the palms of his hands and fingers were exposed. In contrast, a pair of super cheap no-name gloves ($7) that we bought at Boats U.S. lasted for 3 years. Very disappointing, since O'Brien is such a leader in ski-related accessories... I'll go for the cheap pair next summer - even if they wear out, I can buy several pairs with the $50 I'd spend on these.
