I own two Sea Eagle boats. I have owned the Paddle Ski for 4 years. I enjoyed it so much. I bought a Fold Cat to use as a fishing platform which I also greatly enjoy. Everything they say in the boats wright-up is true. There is no exaggerated sails hype. The material that the pontoons are made of is really strong stuff. I was paddling into a cove when suddenly, I realized I had hit a submerged obstacle. I had to lean heavily to the left and bounce the boat to get the right pontoon off of what ever I had struck. After I got the boat free, I discovered I had hit the top of a steel fence post about 2 inches under the surface. I listened for doubles ( none ) I thought to myself, I must have a deep scratch or cut in that pontoon. I flipped the boat over prior to deflating it,(nothing) not a mark of any kind. I have a 2 horse motor that I use on it (ab 10 mph.) I kayak with it, have no trouble keeping up with rigid kayaks, until the wind picks-up,even then it"s not that bad. I think I will get the sail kit. I have developed an interest in small boat sailing. I don't have to buy another boat. This smaller model is no longer being manufactured. There have been times when I wish I had bought the larger model 435. This has been a great little (Go Everywhere, Do Everything, I Like To Do Boat.)

Product Description:
Do away with ordinary kayaks and open yourself to all kinds of new water adventures with the Sea Eagle 395 PaddleSki catamaran kayak. With traditional kayaks, you have to choose between a stable, wide craft and a speedy, tippy narrow craft. Not so with the PaddleSki, which features two widely spaced inflatable tubes that cut right through the water while still delivering a solid, well-balanced boating experience. The catamaran tubes also reduce the drag to create a higher boat speed--a handy option when paired with Sea Eagle's electric motor (sold separately) for taking quick trips to a remote fishing spot. Other fun accessories for the PaddleSki include a sailing rig for wind freaks, a full rowing frame, and a specially designed swiveling fishing seat with two built-in rod holders.
The PaddleSki owes its durability to its 1,000-denier fabric tubes and quadruple-thickness overlapped seams. How tough is the PaddleSki? In torture testing, Sea Eagle pounded it mercilessly with the claw of a claw hammer to no effect. The reinforced hull material can easily bump into a dock with no ill effects. Best of all for frequent boaters, the PaddleSki packs easily in a car trunk, so you don't have to spend hundreds of dollars on a roof rack or thousands on a trailer, nor do you have to sacrifice half your garage for winter storage. Other details include three aluminum crossbars, a front spray skirt with a water deflector guard and rope lacing, two 8-foot paddles, two kayak seats, a foot pump, and a carrying bag.
The 395 PaddleSki, which carries two adults and up to 500 pounds, measures 155 by 39 inches (W x L) and is backed by a three-year warranty.
